- Upon Newer Super Mario Bros. DS's release, fans were quick to point out that Pumpkin Boneyard was the fourth world of Newer Super Mario Bros. DS, and featured a spooky theme. This was pointed out because, in Japan, four is an unlucky number, which kind of fit the world's theme. Skawo, sadly, said that it was just a coincidence.
