Samerguy is a normal Shy Guy wearing a black headband, a Japanese ponytail, a black stripe going down each side of his hood, and is armed with a sword.
When Mario enters the arena, Kamek Flies in and cackles, Samerguy then flies in, knocking Kamek out with one slash. This is lucky for Mario, since Samerguy earns him a 100 points. Samerguy will quickly run around the room and swing his sword, Mario must simply jump on his his head, temporarily stunning him. After one hit, Samerguy will run around while sticking his sword upward, preventing Mario from jumping on him, Mario must wait until he attacks before jumping on his head.
- Samerguy is the only tower/castle boss that Kamek dosen't enlarge before battle, as Samerguys represents the old Japanese Era, where they only fight with swords and shields.
- Samerguy's ninja armor is similar to that of Ninja Kirby.
- His name is a pun on "Shy Guy" and "Samurai."
- He is the only tower and castle boss in the game that can be easily defeated with 3 jumps on his head.
